FEE, FUNDS AND EXPENSES FOR M.TECH/ME PROGRAMMES

a) Programme Fee

NOTE: Every component of fees is subject to revision by the NITTTR, Chandigarh from time to time.

Examination Fee: ` 2,600/- and ` 1,500/- per semester/spell for M. Tech./M.E. Regular & Modular Programmes respectively (` 2,600/- and ` 1,500/-separately for Regular & Modular Reappear examinations) or as prescribed by the Panjab University from time to time.

Thesis Fee: ` 700/- for M. Tech./M.E. Programmes (both Regular & Modular) or as prescribed by the Panjab University from time to time.

Fee for Extension of period for submission of thesis (per year or part thereof): ` 1,000/- or as prescribed by the Panjab University, Chandigarh from time to time.

b) University Annual Charges (for both M. Tech/M.E. Regular & Modular Programmes)

Note: 1. All Institute fee, funds, expenses and university fee etc. whether recurring/ non- recurring are subject to revision by the Institute/Panjab University from time to time.

2. Any student who fails to pay institute/university fee by the prescribed date may be fined, suspended or ultimately removed from the institute rolls. The decision of the Director of the institute will be final in this regard.

c) Hostel Charges

Note:

Accommodation in Hostel will not be provided to the local students of Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali and nearby stations.
All M.Tech./M.E. Regular students are required to vacate the P.G. Hostel immediately after their third semester examination otherwise they will be charged 5 times of the standard room rent. They can be allotted single room accommodation if they are doing their thesis in and around Chandigarh.
All students are required to conform to all Hostel/Mess Rules which may be enforced by Faculty Incharge Hostel/Mess from time to time as approved by the Director of the institute.

(iii) Mess/Canteen Charges

Mess ` 2,600/- (per month) approximately subject to revision.

Canteen As per approved prevailing rates

REFUND RULES: Except for the refundable deposit of ` 5,000/-, no other amount will be refunded if a student leaves the institution after joining the programme. However, if a candidate does not join the institute or surrenders his/her seat without attending the classes, he will be refunded the fee as per AICTE guidelines.
