London Business School : GMAT and Language Test

The GMAT

Before you apply you must take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). You must ensure that your GMAT score is still valid on 01 September for the year you will be matriculating.  GMAT scores are valid for five years from the date you take the test. For example, for the class beginning in 2012, we will only accept GMAT scores obtained since 01 September 2007.

Register to take the GMAT

Please arrange for your score to be sent directly to the School. Our GMAT code number for the Full-time MBA is Z11-J7-50.

Your GMAT score is just one of the criteria we assess you on. A below-average score doesn’t automatically rule you out.

English language ability

Our TOEFL institution code is 0898.

If English is not your native language, you must send us your score in a recognised English test taken within the last two years.
We accept these tests:

You do not need to submit your test score if:

  • your undergraduate or postgraduate degree was conducted entirely in English or in an English-speaking country (degrees must be two years or longer)
  • you have lived or worked in an English-speaking country for at least two years since graduating from university.

Your English will be continually assessed during the admissions process.
