ISM Dhanbad invites application for admission to mater of engineering degrees (M.Tech) course in Department of Fuel & Mineral Engineering, Department of Mining Engineering, Department of Electronics Engineering, Center for Longwall Mine Mechanisation, Department of Management Studies, Department of Petroleum Engineering, Department of Applied Geophysics, Centre of Mine Environment, Department of CSE, and Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mining Machinery Engineering.

Admission procedure for Master degree (M.Tech) Admissions: 
The admission to M.Tech for GATE qualified candidates should be held through counseling.
The admission to M Tech for NON-GATE candidates will be based on the basis of All India Entrance Examination conducted by ISM on May 15, 2011 (Sunday) followed by counseling.

Issue of call letter for written test / counseling (to be downloaded from the website) : April 30, 2012 (Monday) onwards

Written test for GATE Not Qualified/NET Not Qualified/ Sponsored candidates : May 13, 2012 ( Sunday)

Counseling/Admission of GATE qualified candidates on the basis of GATE Score : May 19 – 20, 2012, (Saturday & Sunday)

Website display of list of filled/vacant seats after admission of GATE qualified candidates : July 2, 2012 (Monday)

Declaration of results of written test (on the website) : July 2, 2012 (Monday)

Counseling of GATE Not Qualified/ NET Not Qualified/Sponsored candidates who have qualified in written test : July 14 – 15, 2012 (Saturday & Sunday)
